boundless 01 Second Saturday mornings of the month Boundless Zendo at Sheilds Lake, Byrd Park (map >>) 7:30 – 8:10 am  –  zazen 8:10 – 8:20 –  silent walk around the lake Practice with fragrant pines, stealthy herons, rippling waters, and friends close by. You can find parking on the east side of the lake between Shields Lake Rd and the lake. An impressive grove of loblolly pines dominates the northeast corner of the lake at Amelia St and Shields Lake Rd. The practice leaders will be set up in that area. It will be helpful to arrive early and find a spot that has a good feel for you. 7:30 am – three bells begin zazen 8:10 am – two bells ends zazen. Do seated bow with palms together. Stand and begin a slow walk around the lake, maintaining even distance. 8:20 (-ish) – end walking meditation standing in a circle. When one bell rings, do standing bow with palms together.
